He has been involved in a number of projects and ventures in the tech most have come from hackathons, him and his colleague have been working closely with the Tshwane municipality on a smart city initiative to improve the quality, liveability and sustainability within the city
He also work closely with students on a weekly basis exposing them to upskilling platforms such as IBM Z Xplore, AWS Academy to prepare them for the future of work.
Outside the campus, him and his are building a platform for creatives, influences, creators that'll allow them to monetize their content.

Luyanda's Biography
The potential of technology to change entire sectors, companies, and people's lives has always amazed him. When he was a child, he observed how technology was reshaping the world, and concluded that hewanted to be a part of that transformation.
He saw how technology has the power to rewrite established markets and open up fresh prospects for development. Then came to the realization that in order to thrive in business, needed to comprehend how technology was affecting the vicinity and how he could use it to my benefit. He immediately began to learn as much as he could about technology and the digital world and also got involved in networking with other entrepreneurs, read books and articles, and went to conferences.
His highlights includes the opportunity to be an IBM Z Systems Ambassador for his campus.
