ABOUT LERATO MAHLAELA
Lerato Mahlaela believes that "we learn as we go in this journey and the learning is continuous and endless", she holds a BCom business informatics which is information systems in technology field, and worked as an intern at Bidvest as IT intern in their access control, been part of WeThinkCode in 2020. A winner of the Mail & Guardian 200 young South African 2022, and she was also a finalist of Santam Women of the Future 2022. She has founded my Tech company in 2021 where she is actively working in it full time this year.
Her short term goal is to first bring education technology to schools especially Q1 n Q2 and her long term goal is to build a Tech institution that will give the reality of tech side and do away with traditional way of learning
The work of Lerato Mahlaela
Have embarked in EdTech for village and township schools, were we developed and designed technology methods of teaching n learning. At the moment they are assisting the schools to build their online presence by developing websites and introduce them to other digital platforms with the aim of creating their visibility and accessibility.
Have also introduced Virtual reality education to them which we are at a demonstration and teaching stage where we teach them everything about the VR and this started in Limpopo.
