Developers and Tech communities cannot operate in Silos. In order for us to achieve maximum impact in innovation we need to collaborate and work together, grow together, innovate together. People in tech are not the saints and saviours of non tech people, both are groups that need each other for out of the box thinking and innovation.

The work of Bongani Mhlanga
As a software developer, consultant and a Developer Community organiser. The main projects he is working on center around education systems. He recently partnered with a colleague who we will be working on a mentorship based education platform. This partnership extends all the way to a partnership in Kenya where we will expand the model.
Secondly he has a project with his friend where they will be building websites for primary schools in Mpumalanga. Another project we have been working on is helping startups build their own platforms or to assist existing businesses with digitising their businesses. Focusing on education, they have a drone and coding project for kids in the pipeline as well as a gaming and streaming project for kids during holidays we are working on . There are some mini projects that include podcasting but the major projects we are working on this year are centered on education.
