ABOUT SPHIWE KHUZWAYO
Sphiwe "SK" Khuzwayo is a dynamic technology leader, digital education strategist, and innovation advocate from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He is the Founder of KZN Tech Horizons, Managing Director of SPHIWE KAI Computers (SK Computers & Great Minds), and Co-founder of Ongoti Tech Solutions.
With a proven record of driving digital transformation, youth empowerment, and community innovation, Sphiwe combines technical expertise with visionary leadership. He currently serves as System Administrator at STZ Mining & Plants, Head of IT Programs at JUBA SDAC, and Local President of JCI Durban (2025), where he leads initiatives that build leadership capacity and promote sustainable digital innovation.
Previously, at the GoDigitalSA Foundation, he spearheaded national digital education programs such as AI eKasi & eMakhaya Tech Innovation and CODE WITH HONOR, bridging the digital divide through coding and robotics education in under-resourced communities. As host of Injection of Technology on Inanda FM, he leverages media to raise awareness about how innovation drives economic growth and inclusion.

I have mentored three Geekulcha Student Societies (GKSS) – UNIZULU, DUT-PMB, and KZN – providing operational structure, strategic direction, and provincial coordination. Through hackathons, innovation challenges, and leadership development, we cultivated student leaders capable of competing and collaborating nationally.
At the GoDigitalSA Foundation, I spearheaded initiatives such as:
AI eKasi & eMakhaya Tech Innovation CODE WITH HONOR (in partnership with HONOR) These programs delivered coding, robotics, AI literacy, and digital citizenship training to learners in under-resourced communities. They were practical, measurable interventions that equipped young people with future-ready skills and restored confidence in communities historically excluded from technological participation.
