Innovators Build For Smart Government At PSIHack2023

The Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI) hosted its 17th Annual Public Sector Innovation Conference in Cape Town, 23 to 24 August 2023 at the Southern Cape Sun Cape hotel.
As part of the conference, the CPSI together with Geekulcha hosted the 2023 edition of the Public Sector Innovation Hackathon with an aim of challenges developers to create solutions that helps digitise government processes.
Through a mixture of developers from government departments, academia and secondary schools, worked together as teams at the conference venue and virtually.

The Acting Executive Director of the CPSI, Ms Lydia Sebokedi says, "What excites me most is seeing public servants being part of this hackathon, a historic moment indeed! I really hope this will be the norm going forward."
